Spinach Casserole

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 pkgs Frozen Chopped Spinach
  • 4 Tbls of UNSALTED butter
  • 2 Tbls flour
  • 2 Tbls Chopped Onion
  • ½ cup evaporated milk
  • ½ cup water from cooked spinach
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • ¾ tsp. celery salt
  • ¾ tsp. garlic powder
  • 4 oz Habanero Chedder Cheese (Shredded)
  • 4 oz Pepper Jack Cheese (Shredded)
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in sauce pan over low heat, add flour and stir until blended and smooth, but not brown.
  2. Add onion, cook until soft but not brown
  3. Add liquid slowly to avoid lumps
  4. Add seasoning and cheese, stir until melted
  5. Combine with cooked spinach
  6. Transfer to casserole dish and top with buttered bread crumbs
  7. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees
