Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breast cut into 4 strips each
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons of flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 beaten egg (for dredge)
- 1 splash dill pickle juice
- 2-3 cups of lightly crushed corn flakes
Sauce
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- 2 teaspoons of garlic paste or minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper chili flakes
Instructions:
- Slice chicken breast into 4 strips each.
- Mix flour with all of the seasonings in a shallow bowl you can use for dredging.
- In a small bow beat 1 egg and add a splash of dill pickle juice.
- Dip chicken in seasoned flour then egg then cornflakes and place on your air fryer bascket
- Spray chicken fingers with cooking spray
- Air Fry at 356 degrees for 12-15 minutes or you can bake them in the oven for 20-25 minutes
Instructions for the sauce:
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a saute pan over medium heat.
- Once butter is melted add soy sauce, honey, minced garlic and red pepper chili flakes.
- stirring often until sauce is bubbly and slightly reduced.
- Coat chicken tenders one at a time while sauce is still in saute pan.
