Honey Garlic Chicken Tenders


  • 2 chicken breast cut into 4 strips each
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 beaten egg (for dredge)
  • 1 splash dill pickle juice
  • 2-3 cups of lightly crushed corn flakes



  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 teaspoons of garlic paste or minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper chili flakes



  1. Slice chicken breast into 4 strips each.
  2. Mix flour with all of the seasonings in a shallow bowl you can use for dredging.
  3. In a small bow beat 1 egg and add a splash of dill pickle juice.
  4. Dip chicken in seasoned flour then egg then cornflakes and place on your air fryer bascket
  5. Spray chicken fingers with cooking spray
  6. Air Fry at 356 degrees for 12-15 minutes or you can bake them in the oven for 20-25 minutes


Instructions for the sauce:

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a saute pan over medium heat.
  2. Once butter is melted add soy sauce, honey, minced garlic and red pepper chili flakes.
  3. stirring often until sauce is bubbly and slightly reduced.
  4. Coat chicken tenders one at a time while sauce is still in saute pan.
